Street Artist DEDE

He gets his inspiration  in the city. He best works on the street, because he can express his opinion on the walls of Tel Aviv. It allows him to shape the city. Although he gets his inspiration and energy of the streets, DEDE has never seen himself as a Street Artist.

DEDE mostly works in his studio, makes sketches, models and makes tests from which he pulls his works. Sometimes he collects works around a series from it to make. The artist loves his town. It offers many walls which it repays to be painted. Almost every time he paints walls, he gains great experience and experiences thrilling stories. Once he painted on a parking bay when a small boy with his mother ran past and the boy asked what he does there. The mother answered that this is illegal, but that it is the way to express himself. This made him think and he realised that his life is unique.

How Street Art develops in future, he cannot say. He thinks that Street Art became mainstream by the rapid development. There are also commercial Street Art, although most things are often directed against the system.

Street Art came very late to Tel Aviv, but very strongly and suddenly. Because develops in many directions, many artists try to find their own style to differ from others.

He works with stencils, pastes, makes installations, and works also sometimes simply on it off. Beside spray colours he also uses normal painting colours, paper and different industrial materials.

He hopes that he can express by his works what he thinks and feels and it is also unequivocal for the viewer.
