As many other artists C215 also began with graffiti before he started with stencil art. The first stencil he made was a picture of Ava, the mother of his daughter Nina. This was in 2006. It was supposed to be only a present for his daughter and her mother but it was the beginning of his career as stencil artist. Most of his work display close up portraits of homeless, street children and senior citizens. C215 would like the attention of the society on "forgotten" people of our life.

Nevertheless, the artist says about himself that he has neither political nor social motives with his stencils. Instead he would like that the people look around after his works and question them. Who is the artist and what does he want to express with his drawings.

C215 studied art history, worked afterwards for a company which sold luxury furniture. Only bit by bit he found the way back to art. From the moment he decided to work only as artist more and more galleries were interested in his work.

His exhibitions differ from the stencils on the street. He can be more spontaneous on the streets but pictures can be destroyed and forgotten. The exposed work remains everlasting. This is the difference between the streets and a museum.

His exhibition. "The Many Faces of David Bowie" can be visited till the 31st of August, 2013 in the Opera Gallery in London.
