One of few women in the street art scene is Alice Pasquini coming from Italy. The artist who started with street art during her relationship with the French artist C215 has left her artwork in a lot of european cities.
Beside Rome she was on the move in Berlin and London as well as Paris and Moscow. Beside street art she also works for companies and designs their advertising campaigns and draws also comics.

The italian street artist uses normaly acryl, marker and spray cans for her artwork. Mostly she draws people, relations and feelings. In contrast to many male colleagues Alice doesn't want to provoke with her graffiti. Her art just make the streets more beautiful.
Alice is an street artist that doesn't use a pseudonym and prefers to paint during the day. Alice doesn't want to place her work in galleries because street art cannot exist inside, nevertheless, one can make as a Street artiste exhibitions, she says. Nevertheless, she stresses that galleries should be used for things which one cannot realise on the street.
As a protest she does not see Street art, rather it reminds them of freedom. For them it is important, that to paint on what she feels. Earlier Alice painted a lot with her friend together, today she is on the move much alone.
Has started Alice very early in the 90s in the graffiti scene. Their heroine was a comic figure called Sprayliz which sprayed political Graffitis. By them she began to herself for Street kind to intessieren. She would like to study something with art, was certain for them early. Thus she made her end in the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and lived and works afterwards in Great Britain, France and Spain. First she worked as an illustrator what she bored, however, fast.
